You can use Google slides or any other presentation medium. There must be one slide per group member (5 group members = 5 slides) Presentations can be no longer than 3-4 minutes.

Digital Media can Have a Real Impact

Day 14: Apr. 29 - Media Monday in the Lab

• Let's remember some of the tools we learnt last MEDIA WEDNESDAY!
• Remember the point of Media Monday is two fold: a) to understand and question what is going on in the world, AND b) to practice our critical thinking research skills. A good place to start might be Google News.
• Why are we hearing about this?
• Do we trust this source? Why?
• What else do we see on this website that we can question? (bias, sell, opinion, persuade)
This time Media MONDAY will be an individual activity. Everyone will need to submit an article with some details to the Google Form posted here.

DONE? Today will be the first day everyone will also record their WPM (Words per Minute). The trick is, starting slow!

Let’s see what Lumpy and the Lumpettes think!

Your task is to find a YouTuber that has rights to their products! At the video, click on the name of the contributor. From there - click on the ABOUT tab on the right. You should be able to find the following information to include in an email to emaxwell@seycove.ca

Your email to me must include:
